Grace Way Fellowship Leadership
Grace Way Fellowship is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Pastor Chuck Morris
Pastor Chuck has served as pastor of Grace Way Fellowship since January 2012. He is bi-vocational and has worked as a full-time school bus driver since 2010. Prior to becoming pastor at Grace Way, he served for 8 years as Alabama State President of Wheels of Faith Motorcycle Ministry. Pastor Chuck entered full-time ministry after a thirty year career in the transportation industry.
The attributes that best describe Pastor Chuck as a pastor, are solid biblical preaching and teaching. His desire is to lead the people of Grace Way Fellowship into a deeper understanding of God's Word so that they can develop a closer relationship with God. He takes preaching and teaching very seriously, spending the first part of his day focused on Bible study and prayer.
He received his religious training for ministry from Southeastern University (Lakeland, Florida) and is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.
Pastor Chuck has been married for 40 years to his wife, Adelaide. They have 2 sons, both married, and a total of 6 grandchildren. His favorite hobby is restoring old cars and trucks.
Hi! I'm Adelaide. When Chuck was called into the ministry, I was asked how I would feel about being "the pastor's wife". My response was, "I am just me, who happens to be the wife of a pastor." Genesis 2:18 describes how a wife is to be a helper to her husband. So, my philosophy is to do what is necessary to help him succeed. In that regard, while I am not "on staff", I try to do whatever is necessary to help the ministries of Grace Way Fellowship. I assist with worship, technology, children and women's ministries.
I was saved as a teenager, and my desire has been, since then, to serve the Lord and be obedient to His Word. I am thankful for the opportunity to share what God has done for me and help others walk out their faith.
I have been self-employed since 1996 in the area of bookkeeping.
Children's Ministry Team Leader
Hi. My name is Emily Davis. I am so privileged to be able to serve the Lord as a leader and teacher in our kids ministry. I have always had a heart for the kids and youth of our community. I strongly believe God has a plan for our children and youth. My goal is to equip our kids with the knowledge and desire to reflect and show the love of Christ to everyone. I feel that no matter the child's age, the most important thing we can do for them is to teach and show them Christ's love!
I got saved December of 2015 and baptized July 22, 2018. I am married and have a son. I have lived in Evergreen since I was 7 years old.
